Explorers are level 2 cyborgs modified from workers at the Cyborg Factory in the game of Astro Lords: Oort Cloud.
Designed to explore different areas of the Oort Cloud and to deliver any valuables found there back to the asteroid.
With further modification, they can become level 3 cyborgs known as spies.
To get workers, the player can:
- produce them at the Cyborg Factory
- complete quests
The number in the top panel shows the total number of all explorers on the asteroid.
When the storage facilities are full, the number turns red and cyborgs begin to desert (first spies, then explorers, and finally, workers).
